In 2019, I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Ms. Amanda Gorman on the stress of being a Black student during (poorly executed) Black History curriculum for an article in the New York Times: The Edit. I really appreciated her strategy-focused approach to manage these uncomfortable situations. Ms. Gorman has been awesomely brilliant for a long time!
