I was recently asked to give feedback on the CDC recommendations for COVID quarantine and isolation. The CDC guidelines (shown in the image below) were confusing, but the biggest issue that I had is that they were reliant on all systems working efficiently and ethically - including testing access, reasonable employers, healthy individuals and family members, and being fully vaccinated and boosted. I had more to say, especially about the burden on women and people of color, as well as those in service industries. You can read it yourself at the link below.
